What Is Our Client Looking For?
Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, reporting, treasury, and operational finance functions of the family office and its affiliated entities. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to ownership, providing financial leadership, strategic insights, and oversight of a complex investment and operating environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead the overall financial strategy and planning process for the family office and related entities.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and liquidity planning.
- Manage financial reporting, including consolidated reporting across multiple entities and investments.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner closely with ownership on investment analysis, capital allocation, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships, and debt management activities.
- Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external advisors, including auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and investment professionals.
- Evaluate and improve financial controls, systems, processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Provide financial leadership on acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and special projects.
- Lead and mentor finance and accounting personnel across the organization.
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations and reports for ownership and stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or other advanced professional designation.
- 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Previous experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance executive.
- Experience within a family office, private investment firm, private equity environment, or complex multi-entity organization.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, treasury management, tax planning, and investment oversight.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex corporate structures and consolidated reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic planning, and financial modeling capabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
