What Is Our Client Looking For?

Our client is looking for a Vice President of Finance to lead financial planning, capital strategy, reporting, and operational finance initiatives across the organization. The selected candidate will work closely with executive leadership to support investment decisions, optimize financial performance, and drive long-term growth.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis functions.
• Partner with executive leadership on capital allocation, investment strategy, and business planning initiatives.
• Oversee financial reporting and performance analysis across the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain financial models for acquisitions, developments, refinancing activities, and asset management initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Support debt financing, lender relationships, and capital raising activities.
• Prepare presentations and financial analyses for executive leadership, investors, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate acquisition opportunities and assist with due diligence, underwriting, and transaction execution.
• Collaborate with accounting, asset management, development, and operations teams to support business objectives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and internal controls.
• Participate in strategic initiatives, special projects, and corporate growth opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of accounting and finance experience.
• CPA designation required.
• Experience working within the real estate industry, preferably supporting diversified real estate portfolios across multiple asset classes.
• Strong understanding of real estate investment, development, acquisitions, and asset management.
• Experience with financial modeling, underwriting, and investment analysis.
• Knowledge of debt financing structures, capital markets, and lender relationships.
• Strong analytical and strategic decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to influence business decisions through financial insight & analysis.
