What Is Our Client Looking For?

Our client is seeking a Commercial Leasing Director to lead leasing operations across a diverse commercial property portfolio. This individual will be responsible for driving occupancy, maximizing portfolio performance, building strong tenant relationships, and supporting the execution of strategic leasing initiatives.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring optimal occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Lead lease negotiations, renewals, and restructurings to maximize financial performance.
  • Develop and execute leasing strategies for each property within the portfolio to drive revenue growth and long-term value.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with tenants, clients, property owners, and brokers.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of lease agreements, deadlines, and tenant obligations to minimize risk exposure.
  • Conduct market scans and competitive analyses to identify new leasing opportunities and anticipate industry trends.
  • Prepare actionable leasing reports and present insights to senior management to guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and property management teams to support lease promotion and retention initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the leasing team, promoting best practices and professional development.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial leasing experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lease structures, leasing regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven success in tenant relations, lease negotiations, and portfolio performance optimization.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop leasing professionals.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop effective leasing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including interpreting market trends and translating insights into actionable strategies.
